The sample size for the study was two hundred (200)
respondents. The multi-stage sampling technique was used to divide the
department into four strata (100 – 400 Level Students) and in each stratum, the
accidental sampling technique was used to select fifty (50) respondents making
a total of two hundred (200) respondents from the four strata. Accidental
sampling technique is a type of non-probability sampling technique that is
based on the judgement of the researcher based on availability and proximity of
the respondents at a particular period of time (Boxill, Chambers
& Wint, 2007).
