The area of the study is Oleh in Isoko South Local
Government Area Delta State. Oleh town is bounded in the south by Emede, in the
North by Ozoro, in the West by Irri and in the East by Akiewhe. Oleh is the
headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area. The community has several
facilities with include a general hospital, Law Faculty of Delta State
University, government and private primary and secondary schools, and so many
medium and small scale private owned businesses. The indigenous language of the
people of Oleh is the Isoko Language and the major occupation is farming and
trading.
