Our client is one of the largest producers of iron ore worldwide, and a Fortune 500 company. They are seeking a CFO to take accountability of the entire Liberia operation (Port, Rail and Mine), as well as looking after procurement and IT.
Requirements
• Skills should include organizational development, personnel management, finance and accounting, and risk management (3 – 5 years of experience in finance roles).
• Sound understanding of IS/IT systems (in particular SAP).
• Hands-on accounting professional with the ability to think strategically. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Business Finance, Accounting or other advanced degree in a relevant field and, when required, solid working knowledge of investment and capital resource community.
• Position requires excellent analytical skills, high level of written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support and guide business management on financial objectives, to motivate, train and develop teams and simultaneously manage several projects, to meet deadlines and to manage competing priorities.
• Mining or heavy industrial experience would be a distinct advantage.
This position would preferably be on a residential basis.
