The Smallholder Oil Palm Support Project is a three year (2011 – 2014) program designed to increase the
productivity, profitability, marketing, and enabling environment of the oil palm sector. This project is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and is being implemented by international NGO, Winrock International www.winrock.org
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Insure staff compliance for project requirements regarding requests for bids and procurement policies;
• Implement transparent and auditable financial support functions including travel related advances/expenses payments for procurement of goods and services;
• Responsible for the documentation and safekeeping of advances, mission orders, expense reports, salary payments and receipts;
• Monthly financial reporting including: field reports on all accounts, completion of vouchers, budget summaries, submission to COP and submission to Headquarters after COP approval;
• Insure that all project expenditures are necessary for the impletion of project activities;
• Collaborate with the COP and technical staff in the development and implementation of project strategy;
• Missions of diverse nature can be assigned to the accountant by the supervisor; and
• Create and maintain professional relationships with project partner.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting;
• University Bachelors Degree or BTS in accounting;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms;
• Well organized, punctual and excellent team member.
