Job Description:
• Performs clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving and screening visitors, scheduling meetings, providing information to callers, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and performing basic bookkeeping work
• Organizes travels of SDC visitors and staff
• Prepares office material requests, control and inventory of stationery
• Receives, copies, dispatches of mail
• Maintains administration lists. Archives, update and filing of documents
• Disburses petty cash expenses, controls petty cash box
• Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions in Excel
• Monitors and updates inventory list
• Assists superior in the development of the office and takes responsibility for efficient office management.
• Supervises vehicle movements, dispatch of drivers
• Monitors and keeps (HF/phone) contacts from the office of vehicles
Job Requirement:
Specific qualifications
• University Degree in administration or equivalent formation due to training and years of experience in that field.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as Administration Officer
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organisational and planning skills
• High level of computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
General qualifications for all job offers:
• Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites and to walk to remote sites with no road access, including overnight stays in remote locations if required
(not valid for Base Manager and Administrative Officer)
• Willingness to promote team work and to share information and knowhow with all involved stakeholders
• Good writing and communications skills in English
• Good computer skills
• Non-Liberian must have the required work and/or residency permits
