Education:
Ph.D/M.Sc Environmental/Land & Water Studies/Land Evaluation/Land and watershed management/Soil and Water conservation
Experience:
Pref 4 years experience in land and/or environmental management
Duties
1. Participate in the development of Environmental Management Policy and Programme of GVL;
2. Develop annual Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and budget requirement;
3. Design and develop action plan for conservation measures to minimize: soil erosion, nutrient loss, water pollution and flooding hazard;
4. Coordinate the sampling, analysis and reporting of water quality tests;
5. Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental protection measures;
6. Ensure continuous improvement in environmental performance based on effective monitoring system;
7. Develop and implement environmental communication and outreach strategy;
8. Ensure compliance to all national/international environmental laws including RSPO;
9. Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports as well as annual report.
