The Driver will provide ready and safe transport for PCI staff and related operations to the project, and ensure proper vehicle use and maintenance. The Driver reports to the Team Leader to ensure transport is available, suitable for desired uses. Drive PCI vehicle in compliance with Liberian traffic laws; responsible for
the upkeep and regular maintenance of the office vehicles including daily vehicle checks; responsible for the safe and on-time pickup and drop off of staff and visitors from/to predetermined places Monrovia, Bong, and Nimba Counties; maintain a log book of the office vehicles’ movements, keep track of mileage for all trips, and obtain sign-off from staff for each trip; prepare vehicle for field trips, including fueling and equipping of vehicle; obtain receipts for petrol, maintenance and repairs and present them to the finance staff for reimbursement; assist in loading and offloading of vehicles; ensure compliance with all PCI and local driving laws and regulations; liaising with the supervisor to coordinate vehicle trip scheduling;

JOB REQUIREMENT:
High School graduate; driving experience of light/heavy duty vehicles of three years or more; valid driver’s license; extensive knowledge of Liberia roads (Bong and Nimba); basic vehicle maintenance skills; mentally alert and physically fit; good communication skills; attention to details; good memory and initiative, ability and willingness to spend nights as needed outside of Bong/Nimba.
