Dana Petroleum plc is an oil and gas exploration and production company with a balanced portfolio of producing fields, developments, discoveries and exploration acreage in countries including the UK, Egypt, the Netherlands, Norway, Mauritania and Guinea. Dana’s objective is to become a leading international E&P company with assets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It intends to grow considerably over the next few years and to help achieve this growth Dana is seeking to recruit experienced and highly competent professional staff to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in its Aberdeen (UK) and The Hague (the Netherlands) offices.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in the oil industry to fill a range of positions. To be considered for senior roles candidates should have extensive experience in their chosen field (preferably over 10 years). All candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject.

• Exploration and Development Geologists (UK) – As a geologist you will be involved in a wide range of geological tasks, including 3D modelling, for operated and non-operated areas, as well as New Venture activities. This work includes identification and assessment of prospects, presentation and documentation of results. You will work in close cooperation with geophysicist, petrophysicist and petroleum engineering colleagues.

• Exploration and Development Geophysicists (UK) – As a geophysicist you will analyse and interpret seismic data to bring forward exploration, exploitation and development prospects. You will work in close cooperation with your geology, petrophysics and petroleum engineering colleagues in the asset teams.

• Reservoir Engineers (UK & the Netherlands) – The reservoir engineer positions will focus on existing assets and growth opportunities. As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will be responsible for delivering evaluation and support of new venture activities, pre-development studies and technical assessments, field development strategies, plans and analysis and recommendations on production performance data. You will work in close cooperation with your geology, geophysics and petrophysics colleagues in the asset teams.

• Petrophysicists (UK) – In this role you will provide petrophysical support to asset teams in all areas including new well planning and delivery, log interpretation, surveillance planning and operation, reservoir description, core analysis and seismic rock properties. You will work in close cooperation with your geology, geophysics and petroleum engineering colleagues in the asset teams.
