Integrity Research and Consultancy is currently looking for a highly qualified Head of Training and Capacity Building (H/TCB).
Scope of Work:
H/TCB will drive all business development, marketing, implementation, management and delivery of projects and programmes related to Integrity’s Training and Capacity Building (TCB) service line.
Terms of Reference:
• Help manage Integrity as part of the management team, responsible for driving Integrity’s operations.
• Build and market Integrity’s capability to implement TCB projects and programmes through developing our consultancy bench, marketing materials, accreditation and training facilities.
• Design concepts and proposals that lead to the contracting and delivery of funded TCB projects and programmes.
• Build Integrity’s reputation as a high-quality provider of training and capacity building services .
• Develop and maintain forward facing relationships with TCB clients that lead to new business development opportunities.
• Align TCB capability in support of other Integrity service lines through developing training programmes across the other service lines.
• Serve on project implementation teams, primarily as TCB coordinator and implementer, but also in other project-specific roles as necessary.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
• Master’s degree in development studies, political science or other thematically relevant area.
• At least seven years of relevant training and field experience preferably in fragile and conflict affected environments.
• Previous experience in the design and development of training course curricula and materials that utilise participatory teaching methodologies,action learing and training for trainers.
Competencies
• Excellent knowledge of training and capacity building concepts and practices.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with fragile and conflict affected environments in Africa, South Asia and / or the Middle East .
• Able to build and lead teams, manage complex projects and deliver in challenging and fast-moving operational environments.
• Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.
• Personal commitment, flexibility, efficiency and drive for results.
Languages
• Fluency in English and preferably with at least one of Arabic / Swahili / Urdu or French.
