Mental Health Authority is a new Agency under the Ministry of Health created by
an Act of Parliament, Mental Health Act 846, 2012. The Authority’s mandate is
to establish an integrated, culturally appropriate quality and accessible
mental health care of world class standard.

Functions:
- Shall
be responsible to the Director of PPME - Shall
initiate, oversee and coordinate research
activities on mental health - Shall
write proposals and seek funding for research - Shall
send reports to the Director of PPME - Shall
convene scientific meetings.
Required
Skills or Experience
Skills or Experience
- Shall
have a postgraduate qualification in research related discipline - Shall
have proven research background and at least 10 years experience in
research - Shall
have proven ability to write proposals for research funding
