Distribution Center Manager
SCOPE:
This position is responsible for overall DC Operations performance in terms of Cost control, Quality, Service, Safety, Logistics and distribution functions.
Job Requirement:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRODUCTION- (Finishing)
Oversees all production related activities to achieve operations effectiveness.
OPERATION AND MACHINERY
Drive for operation efficiency and perform PM/predictive maintenance at defined periodically basis.
LOGISTICS/WAREHOUSING
Manage and plan for logistics which include Inventory purchasing/control, shipping, warehousing and distribution.
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH & SAFETY:
Oversees and lead the team for compliance to Environment, Health & Safety policies and to achieve Safety targets.
ELS:
Lead the team on corporate ELS initiatives and programs
EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT (part of competency)
OTHERS: (example of compliance to requirements – legal/ product requirement)
Qualifications:
• Preferably Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Over 5 – 7 years experience in Operations/ Manufacturing company preferably on Operations & Supply Chain Management functions.
• With strong leadership, ability to manage, coach and develop a diverse team of individuals performing a variety of tasks.
• Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
