PhD research scholarships
A few PhD research scholarships are available in our group. The applicant must have interest and motivation to work on computational chemistry projects. NTU offers admission of graduate students twice a year (in
August and January). Application can be made at http://www.spms.ntu.edu.sg/CBC/Graduates/GradProgramOverview.html), and all applications undergo the university’s screening process. Please feel free to contact Hajime Hirao (hirao@ntu.edu.sg) for any inquiries.

Postdoc positions
A few postdoc positions in computational chemistry are available in our group. The applicant must hold a PhD degree in chemistry, biology or related areas and will use DFT, QM/MM, MD, docking simulation, or other computational approaches to investigate the structure and reactivity of metalloenzymes or catalysts. A strong scientific background in applied or fundamental computational chemistry is required. Priority will be given to candidates who have experience working on computational bioinorganic chemistry, computational biology, or quantum chemistry. Having skills of scientific programming or drug design will be considered a plus. The appointment is on an annual basis, and renewal is possible contingent upon the performance and the availability of funds. To apply, please send a cover letter (describing your research interests/proposal and possible start date) and CV (including list of publications, specific skills/experience, and contact information for at least three references) to Hajime Hirao (hirao@ntu.edu.sg).
