RETAIL LEASING MANAGER (MNC/ SGD 6K/ KL/ PENANG)

Responsibilities:
The Retail Leasing Manager role is integral to the success of the performance of the assets, achieving contract key performance indicators and compliance with the management contract.
• Assist clients with direction of client’s legal counsel in preparation, negotiation and execution of lease documentation
• Oversee all leasing activities on behalf of the client in accordance with the agreed strategy including direction and management of negotiations by other agents
• Drive the retail tenancy mix and profile to enhance the market position of the retail asset in the market and to optimize occupancy and rental income according to the relevant market conditions
• Contribute to the overall strategy and business plan for the relevant retail asset and support the General Manager
• Provide consistent and clear communication to all stakeholders in relation to the leasing activities for the nominated portfolio (Client, CBRE management team, other agents, existing tenants, prospective tenants and service providers)
• Develop annually a leasing strategy for each property incorporating:
I. SCOT analysis of the property
II. Property position in the market
III. Competition analysis
IV. Rental analysis, outgoings benchmarking and review of tenancy mix
V. Specific action plans for leasing of vacant premises, lease renewals, lease options, expansion and contraction, tenancy mix
VI. Marketing plan for vacant space
VII. New revenue opportunities and feasibility analysis
Requirements:
• Minimum diploma/degree in Real Estate/ Marketing/ Business or any other related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting/ Finance or a related field.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision at times and remain self motivated.
Salary: SGD 6000 or above/ RM14000 ++
Location: Malaysia (Penang/ Kuala Lumpur)
