My client is a shipbuilder with head office based in KL, Malaysia and has immediate vacancy for the below position.

HR & Admin Assistant Manager/Manager

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resource functions which include manpower sourcing and placement initiatives, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management and other HR related support services.
• To monitor the development, implementation and maintenance of Human Resource Policies and Procedures, Strategies and Guidelines in line with the company business plan.
• Responsible to implement and maintain the companywide Job Description/Key Business Indicators as well as Annual Appraisal System and its reporting exercise.
• To designs and reviews the compensation and benefits structure against the market and the company’s affordability.
• To provide leadership and strategic direction in Talent Acquisition through implementation of Core Training & Development Programs, Career Path and Succession Planning.
• To establish team spirit and healthy company culture among all levels of employees through employee relations programs, counselling, coaching & intervention professionally.
• To develop and maintain the departmental proposals in related to HR Initiatives.
• To perform other ad-hoc tasks/projects pertaining to Human Resources and Administrative duties as and when required.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Human Resource generalist role
• Experience in listed company background preferable and will be an added advantage
• Mature, resourceful, highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Possess a high level of integrity with good leadership, consultative and negotiation skills
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of organisation
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Have a sound knowledge of local Employment Act, Industrial Act and other HR Legislations.
• Computer literate (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and HR Information Software proficiency are essential
• Proactive, innovative, resourceful and self-driven with multi-tasking ability
• Good interpersonal skills and resourceful in problem solving with ability to work independently.
