Digital Media/Multimedia Designer

Responsibilities:
Gajah is seeking a Digital Media/Multimedia Designer to be part of her multi-discipline team for creating meaningful product experiences. The ideal candidate is someone with strong passion for design and strong aptitude to push new boundaries to deliver innovative product interfaces.
Requirements:
• Have at least 2 years experience in user interface design for consumer electronics products, mobile applications (Android, ios) or web based applications.
• Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design/ Multimedia Design/ Visual Communication
• Proficient in Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Dreamweaver; mastery in digital tools for creating visual concept mock-ups and stunning visuals in final artwork
• Well verse in tools and design processes to dream up intuitive interfaces that embody function and aesthetics. Have strong working knowledge in human-centered design principles for creating intuitive and compelling user experience for tomorrow’s consumer electronic products
• Have design sensibility to bring innovative ideas into reality; translating consumers’ needs into an visually stunning and engaging product experience
• Ability to manage the process of conceptualizing and deliverable for interaction design of the digital media devices; have in depth understanding of the various stages of the interaction design process to create scenarios storyboard, process flow, wireframe, visual guidelines and specifications for the development of an innovative interaction solution.
• Familiar with usability testing to evaluate the ease of interaction of the interface as well as to ensure the interface design matches user’s responses. Have a keen eye for detail, ensuring design specification and requirements are implemented during the development process; deliverables are consistent with concepts and ideas.
