AVP, Coastal & Infrastructure Engineering (Road Design)

The candidate can expect to work on a wide variety of road projects, both in Singapore and overseas, including the geometric and civil engineering design of expressways, major and minor arterial roads, limited-access facilities, intersections and interchanges.
[Responsibilities]
• Plan and review the production of engineering drawings and specifications
• Participate in engineering and planning investigations
• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects
• Analyze technical problems, assessing the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures and devising new approaches and alternative solutions
• Coordinate work with project manager and guide junior engineers and technical executives on the design and drafting of preliminary and final plans
• Oversee quality control, maintaining quality standards in all work produced and checking computations or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others
• Manage projects by coordinating with the client, directing the design process, coordinating the design team, which may include other disciplines
[Requirements]
– Bachelor of Civil Engineering from universities recognised by PE Board, Singapore
– At least 5 years experience in roadway design, preferably familiar with roadway, drainage and structure engineering.
– Good technical writing, computer, and communication skills.
– Proficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D will be an added advantage.
