ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – HVDC Designer – Winnipeg, Manitoba
As a member of the Transformer Design team, you will be responsible for the complete electrical design of HVDC transformers as defined by customer specifications and applicable standards, and will formalize the final design and provide support to drafting and manufacturing operations. State of the art design tools and continuously improving work methods encompass your work environment.
You will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5-7 years experience designing HVDC converter transformers and other special transformers. A proven track record demonstrating design capabilities; a strong career interest and flair for design, as well as strong interpersonal skills are essential.
