Job description:
Our client, a leading laboratory sales equipment company, is now recruiting for a Business Unit Manager.
The purpose of this role is to maintain and develop the company’s sales markets through the efficiencies of professional people who we can lead, develop and communicate with. This role should build and strengthen relationships with our customer and supplier base. The role should also maintain and develop relationships with all business unit managers and service personnel.
Special Features:
• Knowledge of Chromatography (HPLC, GC), Spectroscopy (TOC, FTIR, UV, AA, MS), dissolution and laboratory experience desired
• Sales experience, although not essential, would be preferable
• Preferably a degree in Chemistry, or equivalent
The Person:
Be a flexible team player, be able to work independently, prioritise own work and, maintain confidentiality of information.
Have a positive attitude and be pro-active, have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints.
