Grant Writer:
• Responsible for booking volunteer/intern/tourist programs, safaris, tours, trips into the database system
• Research about available grants that apply to Art In Tanzania, Art In Ethiopia, Art In Zanzibar and Art In Finland
• Focus on the UNICEF Children’s Agenda to find funding
• Create a grant writing template for grant proposals, prepare documents for submission, proof read all proposals, submit to the funding source and follow up.
• Create partnerships with other NGO’s, embassies, businesses, etc.
Donations Coordinator:
• Supervising and monitoring all in-country donations
• Facilitating progress updates to donors
• Create a foundation wide Donations Policy
• Donor solicitation efforts
• Assisting with organizing fundraising activities in-country
Team Leading:
• Updating CRM with booking, volunteering and safari information
• Supervising and guiding intern and volunteer programs
• Allocating accommodation and facilitating volunteer briefing on arrival
• Other administrative tasks
Our ideal candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with writing and researching proposals
• Management and organization skills
• Negotiation and liaison skills & high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to manage staff and motivate others
• Approachable for volunteers, resilient and mature, with the ability to work alone and in a team under basic living conditions
• Fluency in English, Knowledge of Swahili helpful
