Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Arusha
Purpose of the position:
Receipting and tracking movement of Purchase Requests (PRs) & Purchase
Orders (POs) within the Supply Chain Department ensuring that all PR received
in NO supply chain office are accounted for. Draw various reports
pertaining to purchases against the PRs and share the reports with the Senior
Leaders and Supply Chain officers on a weekly basis and with the rest of
stakeholders on a monthly basis.
Major Responsibilities:
1: Management of PRs coming to SCM Dept
Capture all details of PRFs coming to Procurement from the user departments
follow up and capture all data on the processing of the PRFs on a weekly basis
from the time it comes into procurement to the time when the delivery is done
to the stores
2. Track POs for deliveries of goods and services
Together with the stores liaise with the Divisions / ADPs / grants officers
to confirm receipt of goods in condition to enable accounts to pay
3. Management of PR and PO tracking tools and draw management reports
Draw various reports pertaining to procurement on received PRs on a weekly
basis and share with the Supply Chain Manager and Support services
Associate Directors and share with other stakeholders on a monthly basis
Show any financial savings on the procurement process for each PRF
Show any savings in the procurement process in terms of time taken to procure
the goods and/or service
4. Capture data from the accounts office on payments to the suppliers for the
goods and services delivered to WVT

5.Contribute to the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
6. Assist in the coordination and consolidation of annual procurement plans
from the ADPs and all other WV departments to create an annual aggregated
procurement plan
Minimum Qualification required:
Bachelors degree preferably Business related
Post graduate qualification in Supplies chain management preferred
Experience:
At least 3 years experience in SCM or data analysis work
Technical Skills & Abilities:
Excellent computer skills, MS excel and Access
High professional ethics and whose integrity is beyond reproach
Good interpersonal skills and a natural organizer
Proven people and communication skills
