Job Title: Chief Accountant

Position Description:
Vipajilink is dynamic recruitment and outsourcing firm established in
Tanzania to champion valuable link between professionals. Is looking for
Chief Accountant who will be dealing with the following
ü Develop and implement various accounting procedures.
ü Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves
transactions
ü Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports
according to schedules.
ü Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and
interpret current and projected company financial position.
ü Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional
accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
ü Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of
cost center performance
ü Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations;
ü Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
ü Researching and reporting on factors influencing business in
financial point of view.
ü Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
Academic Qualifications:
Possession of full Accountancy Qualification CPA, ACCA)
A postgraduate qualification in finance /accounts/economics would be an
added advantage.
Work Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting position in a reputable
organization
