Position Description:
The Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania is an agency of the Aga Khan Development
Network, committed to providing quality health care to its customers and
promoting health sciences education. With this mandate, The Aga Khan Hospital
has embarked on a major expansion that will see the development of
tertiary-level services, which will include a comprehensive cardiology
programme, oncology services, neurosciences, orthopaedics & trauma,
diagnostic imaging, critical care, and obstetrics. Now embarking on our
Cardiology Programme, we are seeking enthusiastic and qualified candidates for
the following positions. Selected candidates will also be sent for trainings.

Relevant Qualifications
Masters in Medicine qualification such as MD., M.Med and Msc or equivalent.
Specialization in interventional cardiology with active clinical role and
ongoing academic engagement within the hospital set-up.
At least 5-6 years of clinical and academic experience post successful
completion of the masters/residency program (including medical/board clearance
through relevant exam); documented minimum of 250-300 coronary angiograms/PCI
per year.
Teaching experience in a recognized Medical College or Teaching hospital is
required.
Appointment to the clinical faculty of Aga Khan!
University Medical College, East Africa would be expected.
