WaterAid works through supporting local
organizations and government authorities to design low cost sustainable
projects using appropriate and affordable technologies that can be managed by
the community itself. WaterAid also seeks to influence the policy change
through government and other key international organizations to secure and
protect the right of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation
services.

The position holder reports to the Country
Representative and will be a member of the Senior Management Team. You will
provide strategic leadership and take responsibility for all finance functions
within the country programme. This will be achieved by reviewing existing
policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of
the organisation’s activities, including supporting partner organisations, to
operate according to Water Aid’s financial management framework. You will
assist in the capacity building of WaterAid partner organisations to undertake
finance activities that resonate to WaterAid and donor requirements.
