WaterAid works through supporting local
organizations and government authorities to design low cost sustainable
projects using appropriate and affordable technologies that can be managed by
the community itself. WaterAid also seeks to influence the policy change
through government and other key international organizations to secure and
protect the right of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation
services.

The post holder is responsible for developing,
leading, and directing the programming function that ensures planned integrated
WASH interventions (water supply, sanitation promotion and construction) in the
urban and small town settings have maximum impact and efficiency. You are
expected to work with national and local government levels, private sector and
NGO in the development of innovative water supply hardware delivery, water
resources management and delivery of innovative sanitary designs alongside
their promotion.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management
and successful implementation of our WASH service delivery. This includes
managing the implementation of quality WASH activities and related budgets,
coordinating WASH activities with other sectors of health and education.
