Associates, an international development organization that provides technical
assistance, research, analysis, and practical training services in more than
128 countries, seeks candidates for an education project in Uganda that
focuses on HIV/AIDS education and prevention, particularly among youth and
teachers. Please note: all positions are contingent on successful award of a
proposal.
F&A
Manager (Based in Kampala)
  • Assist in
    managing the project’s finances and account for payments of services
    rendered across a broad variety of vendors, consultants, subcontractors,
    and training participants.
  • Assist with
    coordination and management of budgeting and financial documentation. 
Requirement:
Qualifications
include:
  • Bachelors
    Degree (required) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or
    similar field;
  • 6+ years
    performing responsible work in financial management;
  • Experience
    providing financial management on USAID-supported projects required;
  • A strong
    command of financial and other computer applications such as MS Word,
    Excel, Quicken, Access, etc.; Advanced-level in both written and spoken
    English required and skills in Ugandan national languages highly
    encouraged.
