Job Summary: The
Finance Officer will primarily ensure accountability for funds extended to
local partners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of financial analysis
and assessment of partner organisations and program and project proposals - Responsible for financial
monitoring and evaluation of partner organisations, programmes and
projects - Preparations of payments in the
contracts between ICCO/KiA and local organizations - Preparation of purchase orders
in the project administration - Monitoring of realisation of
payment orders - Responsible for the
identification of and advising on the financial capacity of partner
organisations.
Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should have at
least two to three years’ relevant work experience - Detailed working knowledge on
financial management of development organizations, producers organizations
and business initiatives in the regional context - Past experience working with
databases - Communicative skills both in
writing as verbally - Excellent language skills in
English and a regional language. - Basic knowledge of development
issues. - Good knowledge on ICT systems
i.e. computer literacy skills and MS Dynamics - Good knowledge of financial
aspects on financing organizations - Be open, diplomatic and highly
reliable - Results-oriented and an
independent team player - Affinity with the Christian
protestant character of ICCO and Kerk in Actie and a high sense of
integrity - Highly independent
