Soft Power Education
(SPE) is working with communities in the Jinja District and Buliisa District in
Uganda working to improve the quality of life through education.
We are currently
looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and independent
thinking individual to be our Volunteer Programme Manager based in Jinja town.
This individual should ideally have a keen interest in the voluntourism sector
as well as an interest in development.
The applicant
must have:
- University
degree or equivalent, preferably in a relevant subject; - Excellent
written English; - Excellent
organisational and IT skills; - Proven
ability to manage multiple tasks, plan ahead, problem solve and meet
deadlines; - Proven
experience is an advantage; - A keen
interest in developing new skills; - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills; - Proven
experience of self motivation as well as working within a team.
