QUALIFICATION
Applicants should be serving officers at Grade G
with at least four years of experience in Public Work at
District level and must possess a Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture. Must be registered with
the relevant professional body.

DUTIES
· Developing the work plans
for the councils and monitoring of accomplishments against set targets .

COMPETENCIES AND APTITUDES
The incumbent should have well developed
interpersonal and communication skills. She/he should have sound d
knowledge of development policies and priorities of Government so
that these are effectively translated to suit District
Council needs. Ability to network with officials and experts in other organizations/institutions.
Sensitivity the nee of local communities. Must be committed to remain and
work in any District Council in Malawi.
