Reporting to the
Malawi Programme Officer, the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator
will monitor and evaluate the impact of the programme in Malawi and report to
the headquarters in Glasgow. The person will also support Mary’s Meals
communications and fundraising through provision of up to date programmes
information regularly
Duties will include
being responsible for leading the implementation of the organisation’s
Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy in Malawi, coordinating the collection of
key routine data, conducting focus groups, surveys and interviews with
stakeholders and beneficiaries, data entry, coordination and statistical
analysis and supervising the MEL Assistants
A Bachelors Degree
in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community
Development or a related subject, 2 yrs experience in Monitoring and
Evaluation, preferably in an NGO setting, Robust data collection, analysis and
interpretation skills, Strong numeracy skills, Well developed communication
skills, Excellent MS Office skills particularly Excel and some experience with
Access, Excellent attention to detail
