Will require
regular travel to rural areas in Malawi
ACE operates an online exchange platform
that links farmers to markets, ACE works in a highly fragmented market, plagued
with information and infrastructure obstacles, and endeavour to develop
structured trading systems that integrate the rural economy into the formal
market by facilitating trade and providing market information, Our goal is to
create an efficient and transparent marketing system for agricultural
commodities, thereby reducing transaction costs and risks and improving rural
livelihoods

Will report to and work hand in hand with
the training Manager and other colleagues attached to the Training and capacity
Building Department, Candidate will be excepted to take part in development of
print and electronic training materials and training modules which calls for a
good knowledge of extension methodologies and local cultural norms, Further to
this, the candidate will be expected to organise, prepare, assist ain and
anchor a variety of capacity development and training activities to audiences
of different levels  of
understanding, cultural background and interests, In addition s/he will be
responsible for monitoring and evaluation of training activities impacts on
rural target groups and their adoption of ACE services, The candidate will
lastly be responsible to support the ACE field staff in planning, implementing
and monitoring trainings and sensitisations
Review, develop and prepare training
materials, Conduct trainings and capacity building activities in different
environments and settings, Review and design promotional material, Monitor and
evaluate the outcome of training and capacity building activities, Budget for
activities such as field trips, and training seminars, etc following outlined
procedures by ACE and other sponsors of programs, Write field and capacity
building reports, Prepare and update presentations for capacity building,
Support ACE field staff in their training activities
Diploma in agricultural or marketing field
from a recognised institution, Good extensions skills, including knowledge and
experience in adult education and practical application of participatory
approaches, Good command of writing skills in English, Good ICT skills (MS
Office, internet etc), Be creative and flexible and  a team player
