GAIA seeks to employ qualified personnel for the position of Clinical Officer
who will be responsible for the implementing one of its mobile clinics in
Phalombe District
Taking charge of mobile clinic team in aspect of diagnosis and management of
various problems, Examining, diagn
osing and prescribing treatment for patients,
Referring patients requiring further management to appropriate health
facilities, Submitting monthly and quarterly reports on mobile clinic
activities, Networking with health facilities within the catchment area
Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution, Registered with the
Medical Council of Malawi, 5 yrs of work experience in a busy clinic or
programs in rural areas, Trained in HTC and ART management, Ability to work in
rural areas and during weekends, Work in collaboration with the District Health
Officer and other stakeholders within the district, Must be able supervise
other members of staff
