Qualifications:
– Exceptional communicator
– Responsible and highly organized
– Dedicated, positive, outgoing
– Ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others
– Must have valid driver’s license
– Keen interest in wilderness and wildlife preservation
Duties:
– Canvassing
– Team leader for up to 7 canvassers
– Driving canvass van to canvass area
– On a daily basis assigning, coordinating and tracking the streets canvassed
Knowledge of the Wilderness Committee’s mandate and campaigns is an asset but is not required. Full training will be provided. Hours are Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with some flexibility. Canvassing builds communication skills, and environmental work helps everyone’s future. Make a difference in your community and earn a guaranteed $10 to $15 per hour, with incentives for exemplary performers.
