SUPERINTENDENT MINING TECHNICAL TRAINING
Reporting to the Training Manager, the incumbent will
be responsible for the following;
• Developing, reviewing and managing performance of
mining trainers through coaching, training and mentoring
• Developing, reviewing
and monitoring ore production training programs
• Coordinating and monitoring career development
programs for succession candidates and graduates
• Monitoring and controlling the sectional budget
• Ensuring compliance to training policies, procedures
as well as BOTA standards
• Gathering relevant data from different sources
that are needed to perform the job
• Degree in Mining with 5 years training experience
• Diploma in Occupation Directed Education Training
and Development Practice
• Accreditation by BOTA will be an added advantage
• Have excellent I.T knowledge and able to apply
this knowledge to the work for the effective performance of the job
• Knowledge of mining production process and
technology used
Critical competencies required
• Good communication skills
• Supervisory skills
• Ability to identifying bottlenecks and rectifying
them
• Presentation skills
