Job Summary
To execute the installation, maintenance, and modifications of equipment in
line of trade.
Requirements
Minimum
Qualification Requirements
- National
craft certificate NCC or equivalent - 2 years
post qualification experience or successful completion of the Artisan
Development Program (ADP) in relevant trade. - Driver’s
License
Key
Effectiveness Areas
- Provides
technical information and participates in the control of sectional costs
by optimizing resource utilization in area of work. - Maintains
equipment using appropriate maintenance technologies to ensure optimum
equipment availability and reliability. - Carries
out scheduled/non scheduled installations, repairs and overhauls in
compliance with engineering standards and procedures. - Provides
feedback to the supervisor on work-in-progress to ensure effective
workflow. - Plans
for work to be done. - Attends
to all administrative functions, taking cognizance of the need to create a
clear audit trail. - Adheres
to all safety health & environmental policies and procedures as well
as Mines, Quarries, Works and Machinery Act in area of responsibility.
