Walk-In-Interview
Date of Interview: 21th June, 2011 at 11 a.m
Applications on plain paper are invited to fill up the vacant posts of Teacher (Assistant Professor) (Medical/Non-Medical/Super-speciality) on contract basis in various specialities/superspecilities (as per Annexure-A) of Pt. B.D.Saharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (P.G.I.M.S.), Rohtak for a period of one year only or till regular incumbents join, whichever is earlier. The applications, complete in all respects, alongwith certificates/ testimonials in support of educational qualifications, permanent registration with the MCI/ State Medical Council, proof of date of birth, proof of thesis grading, attempt certificate in UG/PG course and the National /International conferences attended and paper presented together with any other documents in support of additional qualifications i.e. medals, prizes, publications etc. must reach the Director, PGIMS, Rohtak by 10.06.2011 at 5.00 PM. The eligible candidates may appear for walk-in –interview on 21.06.2011 at 11.00 AM in the office of the ViceChancellor, Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.

Teacher (Assistant Professor – Super–speciality)
Qualification:
1. A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
2. DM/ M.Ch or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India in the subject concerned.
Teacher (Assistant Professor), – Haematology
Qualification:
1. A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. DM (Clinical Haematology)/ MD(Medicine) or MD (Paediatrics) or MD (Pathology) with 2 years special training in Clinical Haematology
Teacher (Assistant Professor -Nuclear Medicine)
Qualification:
1. A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. Essential:
MD in Nuclear Medicine OR equivalent qualification OR MD in Radiotherapy with DRM OR MD in Medicine with DRM
Teacher (Assistant Professor) -Medical Oncology
Qualification:
D.M. (Medical Oncology)/ M.D. (Medicine) or M.D. (Radiotherapy) or M.D. (Paediatrics) with 2 years special training in Medical Oncology.
Teacher (Assistant Professor) -Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
Qualification:
D.M. (Pulmonary & Critical Care)
OR
MD (Medicine)/ MD (Paediatrics)/ MD (Pulmonary Medicine/ Respiratory Diseases) with DNB in Critical Care with 1 year experience
OR
DNB in Medicine/Paediatrics/ Respiratory Diseases with DNB in Critical Care with 1 year experience
OR
3 years post PG experience in a Pulmonary Intensive Care/ Critical Care Unit of a recognized Teaching Institution approved by MCI/NBE/ appropriate University.
Assistant Professor (Molecular Diagnost-ics)
Qualification:
Postgraduate qualification, e.g. Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Pathology/Immunology/Virology/ Life Science from a recognized university.
Assistant Professor (Medical Bioinformatics)
Qualification:
1. Postgraduate qualification, e.g. Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Bi ophysics.
2. A Doctorate Degree of a recognized University/Institute in a basic or allied Medical Science subject e.g. Medical Biotechnology / Biophysics / Bioinformatics/X-ray Crystallography/ Immunology/Structural Biology etc.
Assistant Professor (Laboratory Medicine)
Qualification:
Doctorate Degree of a recognized University/Institute in a basic or allied Medical Science subject e.g. Medical Biotechnology / Laboratory Medicine/Medical Biochemistry/ /Immunology etc
Age:
Not less than 25 years and not more than 50 years up to the last date of receipt of applications.
Salary:
Teacher (Asstt. Professor – Medical/Super-speciality at a consolidated salary of Rs.50,000/- PM only (Inclusive of all allowances).
Note:
1. One year experience after D.M/M.Ch. in case of Teacher (Assistant Professor) in Superspecialities is relaxable.
2. Number of posts are liable to increase or decrease either way, including complete withdrawal.
3. No separate interview letters will be sent
