Established turnkey solar power provider seeks experienced, qualified Project Manager with exceptional skills and the ability to contribute high quality work, meet critical timelines and problem solve with integrity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of OPA FIT Program details and procedures
• Extensive understanding of PV technology and industry
• Strong project management experience
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, collaborative and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a small team of support members
• Working knowledge of building code requirements, zoning and permitting
• Engineering degree or Engineering Technologist diploma from accredited academic institution
• Expertise in AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of RETScreen and other modeling software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional Engineer of Ontario is an asset
• PV design training/certification from accredited school or solar manufacturer an asset
• Solar industry certification (e.g. NABCEP, FSEC) preferred
• Clean G drivers license and access to a vehicle
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and draft complete solar power systems
• Complete detailed design including electrical plans
• Perform system modeling and simulations
• Determine system financials
• Manage several small to medium sized projects simultaneously
• Prepare and submit applications
• Coordinate work between stakeholders
• Assist in larger system design and drafting
• Review new and emerging technologies
• Track budgets and maintain timelines
• Manage a team of Project Coordinators on a day to day basis
Only highly qualified candidates will be considered. This position will report directly to the VP or Project Management. Salary will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
