The following

POSITION:
TECHNICAL TRAINER – HEAVY EARTHMOVING EQ
UIPMENT
Key performance
areas (duties & responsibilities):
- Conducts
specialised theoretical and practical mechanical training for the Service
and maintenance teams on various heavy earthmoving equipment including
face shovels, dump trucks, dozers, graders and drill rigs etc. - Conducts
competency assessments on service and maintenance teams - Coordinates
Apprenticeship programme - Coaches
apprentices and or arrange for such - Compiles
training programmes - Conducts
audits on servicing and maintenance systems and address deviations. - Arranges
training and workshops for Artisans and other employees
Requirements
Qualifications:
- National
Craft Certificate in Heavy Plant Mechanics or equivalent - Registered
as Trainer and Assessor by Botswana Training Authority
Experience:
- 10 – 15
years’ experience as a Mechanic and having worked on Komatsu, Caterpillar,
Sandvik and Terex heavy earthmoving equipment operating in a mining
environment - 2 years
as a Trainer
Competencies:
