GreenSaver is Ontario’s only independent non-profit dedicated to environmental energy efficiency. Over the past 25 years GreenSaver has helped over 45,000 households and businesses improve their comfort and lower energy bills while improving the environment and the world we live in.
GreenSaver is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative with a passion for customer service excellence. The successful candidate will report to the Customer Service Manager and work closely with our strong team in a busy call centre.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver superior customer service with excellent organizational skills
• Provide advice and information in a blended call centre (in-bound and outbound calls) for a variety programs and services
• Clearly identify problems and either resolve or escalate appropriately
• Assist in Sales cycle by actively converting inquiries into bookings
• Respond to and resolving emails / phone calls, within a strict time frame
• Problem solving, decision making and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
• Input client data into various databases, maintain records, prepare reports
• Scheduling of appointments for many different services
• Reception and administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Concern for the environment
• Knowledge of energy efficiency an asset
• Call Centre and Customer Service experience with a proven commitment to meeting service levels
• Telesales experience an asset
• A passion for customer service excellence
• Strong experience with MSOffice products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications
• Client management database experience
• Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), negotiation and telephone skills
• Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge in a changing environment
• Logical problem solver
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Ability to represent the organization in a professional, caring, progressive manner
• Must have the ability to work well as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
• Must have flexible hours of availability. Some evenings required.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Post-secondary education
