Mid-Day Host

We’re hiring in the
Nation’s Banana Belt! That’s right it’s been plus 30 here for 2 days this year
and we are looking for our next HOT HOT HOT Midday Host! If you share our love
of Country music, Tim Horton’s, Wranglers (Yes we still love our Jeans on the
Prairies) and cliché’s like “have a passion for great radio” then we may need
to talk.
Lloydminster is an
incredibly busy and fast growing city located right on the border of AB and SK.
Just like the city we’re named after 95.9 LLOYD FM is right in the middle of it
all.
Here’s what we’re
looking for:
- Knowledge
of Country Music (you will host our request show) - You
must be committed, committed and Committed to charitable work, public
appearances, and community involvement. - You’re
willing to put in the time on and off air to make your show and our radio
station great. - Technology,
social media, and emerging trends are your friend but you know when to
ignore your phone. - You
are looking for a place to grow, invent, create, connect, and make things
happen far beyond the job description - You
want to be part of a company that invests in people, offering the support,
guidance, mentorship, and leadership that makes us all better at what we
do - You
have integrity, and you are real and honest with your audience and with
your co-workers - Other
possible duties include: Hosting a syndicated Top 25 Country Countdown
show that runs on Lloyd FM and one of our other Newcap Alberta East stations
and voice tracking shifts and updating our website.
