Organization: North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance
Location: Edmonton/Vermilion, Alberta
The Vermilion River Watershed Alliance (VRWA) is a watershed stewardship group
located in east-central Alberta, composed of key stakeholders including local
municipalities, provincial and federal go
vernments, conservation organizations
and residents interested in various stewardship initiatives. The VRWA works in
partnership with the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance (NSWA), Edmonton.
We are currently implementing projects to identify and restore degraded
wetlands and riparian areas in the Vermilion River watershed.
Job: Assist in the promotion and implementation of wetland and riparian
restoration projects
Duration: one year beginning October 15, 2015, renewed annually subject to the
availability of grant funds
Reports to: project co-managers, NSWA office, Edmonton
Travel: primarily throughout the Vermilion River watershed and the city of
Edmonton.
Annual Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
