Me to We is looking for an Associate Director, Me to We
Partnerships to join the leadership team of our Partner
Relations team. The Associate Director, Me to We Partnerships directly manages
major integrated Me to We and Free the Children partners, and provides
strategic guidance to the team of partnership managers to support in driving Me
to We growth. The Partner Relations team is responsible for growing and
maintaining the organization’s position as the
charity of choice amongst 100 per cent of its partners. The Associate Director,
Me to We Partnerships will work together with the Associate Director, Partner
Relations (Canada) and Associate Director, Partner Relations (US&UK) under
the leadership of the Director of Partnerships. This is a permanent full-time
position. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of retail
partnership experience, including experience working in a cross-departmental
collaborative environment.
There is a three (3)
month probationary period, upon reaching the three (3) month period, all staff
members are offered a health plan including dental and Employee Assistance
Program. The position is based out of Free the Children’s office in Toronto
(233 Carlton Street).

Responsibilities:
- Partnership
Management: - *
Directly manage major Me to We & FTC integrated partnerships - *
Ensure the successful launch of new corporate partnerships through
onboarding and robust project management, and on occasion event planning
activities - *
Information management and project management relating to complex multi-year
partnership commitments - *
Accountable for maintaining the health and success of their portfolio of
partners with a key focus on partner retention, growth and expansion and
also escalation of any new opportunities or risks associated with their
portfolio - *
Ensure the accurate and thorough record-keeping and filing of all
partnership contracts, invoices, letters of agreement and other sensitive
documents - Strategy:
- * In
conjunction with the Director, Partnerships as well as the respective Me
to We Directors, create and implement the strategy for integrating for Me
to We across all partnerships. Responsibilities include: - * Flag
obstacles hindering M2W growth to Director, Partnerships - * Some
form of communication with retail and C&F relationship holders to
ensure consistency/quality/ability to think 360? - *
Developing and communicating implementation plan and strategy to teams as
needed - Partner
Relations Team: - * Act
as Partner Relations subject matter expert and go-to for Me to We
opportunities/partnerships - * Work
with Partnership Managers to drive results - *
Provide regular reporting on status of targets - Team
Management (longer term – 6 months +) - *
Provides direction and oversight to a team of partnership managers and
coordinators who each hold a portfolio of integrated corporate partners
who support Free The Children’s local and global mandate and have a strong
Me to We component - *
Authors job descriptions for new and open positions within the team and
conducts first and second round interviews for new hires - *
Responsible for team management including on-boarding and training of new
staff, conducting performance evaluations, and conducting recurring
check-ins, ensuring all staff are set up for success - Ongoing
support - *
Attend and represent the organization at fundraising and networking events
- *
Attend We Day events where appropriate
Skills and
Qualifications:
- 3-5
years experience with retail partnerships - Postsecondary
Degree in related field: Business or Marketing - Demonstrate
sound knowledge of trends in corporate social responsibility, corporate
philanthropy and cause marketing Skills and Qualifications: - Proven
ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders and team members - Enjoys
working in a demanding, face paced work environment and flexible with work
hours - Strong
organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
within tight deadlines - Keen
eye for detail - Demonstrated
ability to work well both independently and within a team setting - Outstanding
work ethic - A
self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize - Entrepreneurial,
independent, a strategic thinker - Positive
attitude, high energy, flexible, and enthusiastic - Comprehension
and ease with the application of Microsoft Office programs, particularly
PowerPoint, Word and Excel - Familiarity
with using a CRM system; experience using Salesforce is an asset
