Solar Brokers Canada is the first residential sol
ar brokerage firm in Canada,
within the little time we have been in the industry we have become a dominant
player in the residential solar market. We are looking for a Social Media Guru
to join our rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum 4-5 years of branding, social media marketing, market research
experience, and experience in copy writing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible to utilize and maintain the website, social media outlets blogs
and other media outlets as they are identified.
• Ensure and Manage all printed and electronic collateral and materials are in
line with Solar Brokers Canada brand identity
• Responsible for the design and layout of many pieces of collateral materials,
electronic communications, invitations and other items needing design. This
position will also work with the in house designer to oversee projects.
• Proofread documents and materials, and recommend edits.
• Responsible for assisting with special events throughout the year.
• Responsible to manage and overlook Junior Graphic Designers work and project
completion
Required Education / Skills:
• University/ College degree in Communications and/or Marketing
• Minimum four years direct work experience in marketing communications in a
business-to-business environment
• Digital marketing fluency, including email and social media strategy and
solid understanding of social media marketing best practices.
• Copy Writing experience
• Highly organized with ability to efficiently manage multiple concurrent
projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships and work confidently
and effectively with individuals from all levels of our organization.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with Content Management System is an asset.
• Advanced capacity for written and oral communication with external and
internal parties
• Ability to simplify complex messages and topics into easy to understand
language.
• Proven ability to adapt writing style to the audience and medium.
