JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine
incoming tenders and review contract potential - Measuring
& ‘ Quantity Take-Off’ from drawings - Preparation
of Evaluation of Tender / Contract documents and Bill of Quantities - Visiting
site / attending pre-bid meetings. - Preparation
of List of Technical Queries for Consultant clarification. - Build
up tender price from first principles based on the scope of works, plans,
specification, programme - Attend
pre & post contract interviews, client meetings etc.
Experience
- 5 years
+ in similar role or higher - Civil
engineering background is an advantage - Strong
QS/ Measurement skills and current market knowledge of building costs - Strong
negotiation, organisation capabilities and communication skills - Good
working knowledge of cube it ,Buildsoft, mudshark and Excel - Strong
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet
established deadlines
