Job context: 
A training officer is responsible to motivate, guide and train employees
to maximize their efficiency and their abilities. And to plan and organize the
training programs for all of AB bank employees

.

Job responsibilities
  •  
Provides on-the-job education to newly hired employees
  •  
Conduct training gap analysis, periodically and on a per need
basis, under the guidance of management
  •  
Set-up, implement and follow up of training plan
      •  
Work with management to schedule training programs for all
staff.
      •  
Recommends management strategies to administration that are
targeted for specific departments with the goal of increasing efficiency and
effectiveness and generating increased revenues.
      •  
Set up the annual training plan and training strategy for the
bank’s departments.
      •  
Maintain and update database (status document) about training
participation and outstanding trainings and regularly review with the head of
HR and the Management Team
      •  
Assist HR, and/or other department in arranging or facilitating
training-related issues especially for external and/or international training,
including but not limited to training participation confirmation,
accommodation, airfare, and other logistical needs, etc.
      •  
Logistics preparations for the training programs.
  •  
Participate in conducting specific courses related to credit
department and BS department:
      •  
Create training manuals or programs and evaluate the results.
      •  
Organize classes and make sure that all the activities take
place in proper
      •  
Keep training programs vibrant and entertaining in order to
engage employees and trainees.
      •  
Prepare tests that are going to establish if the programs are
efficient or not
  •  
Support other departments by conducting some basic training
related to each department or soft skills training: communication, leadership,
etc.
  •  
Be responsible for the quarterly and monthly follow-up tests
(procedure and technical knowledge) to be done with all credit and BS staff as
per KPIs.
  •  
Assessment of training conducted:
      •  
Creates monitoring strategies to ensure that employees are
performing job duties according to training, and to assure that the trainees
got the planned objectives of the training program.
  •  
Keeps up with and applies the latest teaching techniques to a
corporate training environment.
  •  
Handle procedure tests: establish, invite staff, distribute,
correct and communicate results
After an initial phase of setting up more detailed training plans
and developing training modules, is responsible to grow and head a training
unit with additional trainers
Academic Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s
degree: Business, Administration, Management or any other related field.
Experience and other requirements:
  •  
At least 3 years working experience in a teaching, coaching or
training position or hold a middle management position preferably in the
banking environment.
  •  
Must have the ability to engage trainees in discussions during
educational sessions.
  •  
Knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite including PowerPoint for the
purpose of producing training materials and presentations.
  •  
Critical Thinking: Training officer will have to develop or
assess materials that will help employees understand the subjects being taught.
Trainer will have to understand the needs of the employees and judge what will
work.
  •  
Decision Making: Training officer will have to decide the
best programs to train their employees and meet the needs of the
organization.Must have good problem solving and decision making skills along
with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  •  
Communication Skills: Training officer need to speak
present to groups of employees, speak interpersonally with individuals, report
to management and meet with vendors. They must be friendly, clear, strong
public speakers.Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of English.
Management: Trainer might be in charge of training staff, or need
to motivate and train large groups of employees. (Leadership and management
skills). Ability to organize work independently in an effective manner. S/he must
have demonstrated leadership and management skills.
