CHEK News is seeking
a polished senior news anchor / executive producer to take the helm of its
flagship newscast.
You will lead a team
in the daily creation and delivery of CHEK News at 5 – the most watched
newscast in the market.
CHEK is the only
independent, employee-owned television station in Canada.
This is a unique

Qualifications:
- Must
have minimum of 5 years experience anchoring and producing a regularly
scheduled newscast. - Must
have strong editorial judgment and a gift for the turn of phrase as a
writer. - Must
be a natural leader, who excels in a team environment. - Must
have a positive outlook and thrive on the challenges of daily news. - Must
be willing to take ownership. After the first year, all employees are
expected to become shareholders.
