Reporting
to the General Manager, Service Operations you will develop, direct and execute
the regional service operations strategy to achieve operational objectives and
targets through the development and direction of a  high performing team.
You will be tasked with maximising  sales, profitability and customer
satisfaction, focusing on Field Services opportunities in NSW and wider if
required.
Providing
clear direction to the team your role will include but not be limited to:
 
  • Develop
    and implement the Field Services Business Plan, realising profitable and
    sustainable growth
  • Deliver
    on service sales targets and operational targets
  • Manage
    and direct the state services teams which will include being involved in
    recruitment, appraisals, personnel development
  • Work
    with other field services teams within Schneider Electric to provide
    internal efficiencies, improved capabilities and high customer
    satisfaction
  • Develop
    NSW Service Branch as a stand-alone business and expand further if
    required
  • Achieve
    sales and revenue targets
  • Develop
    relationships and promote a solution approach to key consultants,
    contractors and end users
  • Develop
    relationships in order to guarantee ongoing customer business
  • Work
    with other Schneider Electric divisions on cross selling opportunities to
    achieve the Field Services sales target
  • Assist
    in the management and pre-sales activities for  field services
    projects
  • Develop
    strategies for the digitization, remote monitoring and software support on
    a national level
Required
skills and experience: 
  • Tertiary
    qualification ideally in Electrical Engineering or related field
    (Mechanical, Electronic etc) – an MBA is highly desirable
  • Experience
    of running a services business is essential – this could have been gained
    in an electrical distribution and/or industrial automation; medical
    equipment, building services or engineering consultancy environment
  • Proven
    ability of managing high performing teams to drive operational excellence
    in order to achieve set goals and targets
  • Effective
    coaching and mentoring skills
  • Highly
    developed written and verbal communication skills.
