We are currently seeking to fill the role of Clinical
and Palliative Care Manager.

The sucessful candidate will promote a palliative
approach and act as a link between all relevant stakeholders including
residents, families/representatives, staff, specialists, GP’s, Allied Health
and external service providers in the delivery of Clinical and Palliative care.
You do not need to be a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse. An RNDIV 1 with a
strong passion and interest for Clinical and Palliative Care will be
considered. The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of Clinical and
Palliative care being delivered to residents.

Essential Criteria
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent level of computer literacy
- Strong ability to lead and educate others in a
team setting - Ability to relay information clearly and
concisely across all stakeholders - Sound knowledge of developing and implementing
policies and procedures - Aptitude for implementing care plans and all
clinical documentation - In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Funding
Instrument (ACFI), Standards and Accreditation - AHPRA Registered RNDIV1
- Currently employed in a clinical setting
- Minimum 2 years Aged Care experience
- Strong passion and interest in Palliative Care
The Role
- Ongoing facilitiation of best practice
(Palliative approach) - Advancement of appropriate Clinical and
Palliative Care tools and resources - Acting as the direct liasion between all relevant
stakeholders including residents, families/representatives, staff,
specialists, GP’s and Allied Health in respect of all Clinical and
Palliative care requirements - Acting as the primary resource in Clinical and
Palliative care for fellow staff - Working closely with the Facility Manager to
ensure a high level of clinical care is delivered to residents within a
palliative approach framework - Assisting the Facility Manager with staff
development - Instrumental role in the facility’s ACFI Team
- Providing Clinical and Palliative Care
leadership, education and training to staff
