Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre for Children
(TSH) is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation that has helped
speech, language and hearing-impaired children learn to listen and speak since
1967.
One of our many community programs run by TSH is
the Ear Health program, designed to assist in the early identification and
treatment of Aboriginal children with middle ear and hearing problems. This
role will involve travel in the Perth Metropolitan Area, the South West and the
Pilbara.

Health team to ensure children receive adequate levels of health care. 
This is a full time position (part-time or job share will also be considered),
working with a dedicated team who specialise in achieving extraordinary outcomes
for Aboriginal children.

We are looking for a Manager (Audiologist) – Ear
Health Program to plan, manage, develop coordinate and support the Ear Health
Program across the Perth Metropolitan Area, the South West and the Pilbara.
Selection Criteria
  • Full membership of the Audiological society of
    Australia with CCP.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in paediatric audiology and case
    management.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Good communication skills with ability to
    relay clinical information to non-clinical staff and stakeholders.
  • Organisational and management skills,
    including the ability to plan, budget, manage staff and evaluate
    activities and performance of the program.
  • Advocacy and negotiation skills in order to
    represent TSH in a professional and positive manner to government,
    business, peer organisations, stakeholders and the community.
  • High level of computer literacy skills using
    Microsoft Office programs.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills including
    openness, fairness and conflict resolution skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe
    working environment.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
    (WWCC) and National Police Clearance Certificate
