knowledgeable Project Manager to join the Civil Works departmen
t of a
municipality located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. Our client offers
flexible working arrangements whilst working on interesting and challenging
projects for a fast growing municipality.
Employed as the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the
delivery of civil works. You will be responsible for contract management,
project management, variations, contract extensions, site supervision,
programming and stakeholder management.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A degree in project management, civil
engineering or a relevant qualification/experience - An Intermediate Contract/Project Manager with
experience working for Local Government - Significant knowledge of AS 4000
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver
civil works to time/budget/quality constraints - A solid understanding of Local Government
procedures, principles and legislation - Ability to write and present reports to
various stakeholders - Excellent stakeholder management and
negotiation skills - Outstanding written and verbal communication
skills
