Senior IT Analyst

The Challenge:
The Senior IT Analyst will serve as the liaison between Winnipeg Operations and the IT organization, working closely with internal customers and the IT team to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. The Senior IT Analyst will effectively translate business requirements to IT requirements, producing high quality documentation for the requirements, solution options, business cases and recommendations for optimum solutions. In addition, the Senior IT Analyst will manage change requests, testing requirements during implementation, acceptance, installation and deployment of solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems. Minimum of 6 years directly related work experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to translate business process requirements with sufficient specificity to hand off to IT Programmers; Experience with ERP in implementing or supporting (Oracle based platform) is considered an asset. Previous experience in project management and system enhancements is required.
Additionally, the candidate must have strong analytical and planning skills, have worked successfully within a team environment, have the ability to drive successful execution of plans in a high-pressure environment.
